Who am I?

Hi! My name is Steph. I'm an energetic teacher here in Ontario, Canada. I have been a teacher since 2008 focusing mainly on French Immersion learning.

I absolutely love teaching virtually, and am quite passionate about making it fun, engaging and a worthwhile learning experience for my students.

In the past, I have had students log in locally from Ontario, Canada and from around the world. Other provinces like New Brunswick, or states in the USA like Texas. I've also had students from around the world, in countries like Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria and Turkey!

The idea that we can all come together to learn no matter where we are, brings a richness to everyone's learning. That is how Learn + Roam was born!

Stephanie has taught my son for a couple of years and he absolutely adores her! She strives to assess her students’ learning needs and customize her approach to each student. My son tends to learn quickly and requires a lot of supplemental learning opportunities and Stephanie worked to ensure that he was appropriately challenged while also mastering the basics. She is a kind and compassionate educator who builds deep bonds with her students.
